Aditi Anand

Aditi is an illustrator, author and printmaker from India. In 2024 she graduated with a distinction from the Children’s Book Illustration MA at Cambridge School of Art.

Her work passionately reflects her origins. She enjoys working with mixed media and is drawn to stories with strong emotional undertones that address difficult subjects.

In 2024, Aditi won the MACBI Printmaking Award and was the runner-up for the Batsford Prize and the Sebastian Walker Award. In 2023, she won the 'Picture This!' Illustration Competition and was placed third in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration. Her work is currently on the shortlist for the V&A Illustration Award.

As an illustrator, Aditi's picture book What Happened to Grandpa was published by Puffin India in 2024.
